Work Progress

Project construction began on March 23, 2026.

The first phase of construction will be between Harness Rd and Cloverleaf Rd. This construction includes the following improvements:

• New storm line infrastructure (concrete pipe, inlets, and manholes) – Complete
• Raised concrete median islands – Complete
• Edge of road curb line – Complete
• Pedestrian sidewalk and multi-use trail – Complete
• New asphalt roadway with bike lanes – Complete

The second phase of construction will be between Bowstring Rd and Jackson Creek Pkwy. This construction includes the following improvements:

• New storm line infrastructure (concrete pipe, inlets, and manholes) – Complete
• Raised concrete median islands – Complete
• Edge of road curb line – Complete
• Pedestrian sidewalk and multi-use trail – Complete
• New asphalt roadway with bike lanes – Complete
• New concrete roundabout in front of Lewis Palmer HS – Complete
• New street lights along Higby Rd – Complete
• New traffic signals in the Jackson Creek Pkwy intersection – Complete

The third phase of construction will be between Bowstring Rd and Cloverleaf Rd. This construction includes the following improvements:

• New storm line infrastructure (concrete pipe, inlets, and manholes) – Complete
• Raised concrete median islands – In progress
• Edge of road curb line – Complete
• Pedestrian sidewalk and multi-use trail – In progress
• New asphalt roadway with bike lanes – In progress
• New concrete roundabout at Bowstring Rd intersection – Complete
